Why Clean our A/C Ducts?

NADCA consulted on the EPA pamphlet and agrees with all but one of its findings, according to NADCA president Michael Vinick. He says NADCA recommends homeowners clean their ducts once every three to five years. “If you have allergies or asthma, you should consider having it done almost annually,” he says. |

Procedure:
1. Remove all registers and clean
2. Brush and Vacuum all openings and vents
3. Repeat this step until all the ducts are cleaned
4. Re-Install all the cleaned registers
5. Clean work areas
6. Fog all vents with an anti-bacterial solution
7. We are finished
This process takes about 3 hrs on a 2,000 sq ft house.
